OH YEAH BABY!!

Oooh lala! So today makes it official that I’ve been going out with Jakey for a whole year. Hihihi!

But anyway, I had been downsizing my closet for days now and I can’t believe how much clothes I really own. It’s a shame because as I rummaged through my stuff, I discovered some clothes that were left forgotten and some are brand new, some even had their original price tags on. Oopsiedoopsie! I’ll put mileage on those pieces since I’ve already thinned down my wardrobe. Yay!

I also felt like cataloguing most (not all, coz that will be tedious!) of the new and old stuff I have. Maybe this way, it’ll be easier for me to remember stuff I own. Hahaha! Also, to keep me from buying too many of the same stuff. My new philosophy is to wear it til it’s worn out. HAHA Just kidding, but something like that.

Like this denim shorts I have. I have a couple more short shorts and even got new ones and none of them have been worn more than 4x as I remember. I say… that’s unacceptable. I really have to keep myself from spending money on new clothes when I have perfectly wearable pieces still. It’s just not economical for my lifestyle. Maybe if I thrift shop, I can. I should give it a shot though.. it sounds like an adventure. And like what J said here.. and this one magazine I read.. it’s actually good coz it’s RECYCLING! You just got to be patient to find gems and treasures. =P But wait, I may have had practice already from my clearance-ing. LOL!

But anyway, I got that pair of shorts from Hollister. They’re actually really cute. And speaking of.. lemme just say that I’m not a big fan of Hollister and A&F; I think they’re way overpriced for the quality they deliver. I’m not saying I hate the stores, I just don’t think the prices are justified. Well, okay, Hollister I can forgive coz they sell cheaper, but that’s only because A&F wanted to target a wider range of customers. But anyway, I still buy from them because I found that they have good resell value (thank you teenagers and their hunger to fit in), and as you know, I do sell some of my clothes so that’s a pro factor for me. HAHA Parang cars ang topic ko ah.

My fave shops would be Express and American Eagle. I especially love it when they go on sale because I can see the “cost per wear” of an item so much clearer. =) I think Old Navy and Nordstrom and Macy’s have good stuff too when they go on sale, which I think is like every week. And.. what my cousins taught me: The Rack and Ross (for all around things). LOLZ! Oh, and girly boutiques like Forever 21 and H&M! I’m so happy H&M is opening a store downtown! WHEE!!!

Jeesh, I sound so much like a cheapskate!! Haha! I guess I am, but I buy pricey items once in a while too. It’s just that I really love bargain hunting and the feeling of owning something I didn’t have to pay full price on. =P Doesn’t that give you a reason to smile?? Or maybe laugh.

By the way, these BEBE SPORT blouses are so cute - they have matching colored rhinestones on! Too bad they’re a bit small on me. I mean I can wear them, but they’re a little too fitted. LOL!

31 Years and going strong…
