But it’s raining right now and weather this weekend is said to be icky. I’m not sure how it’s going to be at East Washington though, sometimes they have it different from us in the West. Hopefully it won’t be too bad. And if we decide to cancel, I could stay and hang out with the boys and ask Jake to give me a lil tour around the UW campus instead. LOL!

We’re thinking of leaving early evening today and head back Sunday morning, so basically spend Saturday there. Actually, I should be getting my stuff ready now.

Edit: Hahaha!! I got a call from Jake telling me it’s a go. He also said to bring icky shoes. What a bummer. I threw away all my old/I-don’t-want-it-anymore shoes two months ago when I cleaned my closet!! I don’t want to wear my chucks coz it might rain and I don’t want to get my feet soaked and get it all muddy — I don’t want it to be super dirty like that!

• Still wondering if I should get a domokun toy… Anyway, I changed my icons today, a mix of several collections but I’m loving these vintage looking notebooks as folders. I also decided to make them jumbo sized BECAUSE these (and most all of Mac’s) graphics are so awesome, it’s a shame if you don’t see all the details the artists put in them!!! HAHA!!! I also love the autumn inspired icons I used for my Trash (garbage can) and URL (tree).
• I applied for a second job since my current one has been zero for a month and more. Hopefully I’ll get it so I can be busy with something, not just staying at home or spending money shopping — online and real life.
• Speaking of shopping… I know I have said it a million times before, how I would control my spending and adopt a new shopping style. Sheesh, do I ever fail on that!!! I spent the whole day yesterday walking in from store to store to store! I did try to “control” how much I squander and spent time mulling over which of the stuff I need to leave in the store. I ended up getting these:

  It’s actually not bad since I have three outfits going on right there and I only spent around $200 for the whole loot.

This is actually really cool because I have just been beginning to be handbag crazy. It’s kind of my “rush” right now, which hopefully, and I know I will, get out of soon. I’m crazy over Kathy Van Zeeland lately and recently acquired a Burgundy Studio 54 Satchel and a Copper Rock & Roll Fold Over Tote (this one I’m not so sure of). I actually want one from the Shopper collection too! Hehehe!! No worries, I didn’t (or won’t) pay full price… but even so, they’re still “unplanned expenses”. I gotta stop this!!!! So please HandbagPlanet, make me win something!!!

By the way, I think today is my twin cousins’ birthday.

Being silly with Jake-a-roo

I had a nice long shopping weekend with Jake and Josh. LOL! I bought two scarves from American Eagle, tried on jeans and received a free movie pass (I think they do this thing yearly), a sweater dress from H&M and a down jacket from The North Face. Oh, and also some undies from VS… because you can never have enough! HAHAHA! It was a lot of fun hitting the stores with the boys!

And before I went home, Jake let me dye his hair. I asked him about it weeks ago and I’m happy he let me! He’s the best. Oh, but it was funny because I sort of did a sloppy job getting dye on his nape (even though I know it’ll fade eventually), then while helping him wash the dye off, I got water to his ears and it was all over messy and water is getting everywhere. HAHAHA!!! But I think it was cute how he didn’t get mad and hilarious too coz of all the mishaps I’m getting him into, though I’m sure he wasn’t enjoying it as much as I did. LOL! I felt terrible but at the same time giggly, it’s weird. He ended up washing by himself, which was a lot easier and faster. =) But anyway, the last time I’ve seen him with dark hair was camping last year, and he also had longer hair then. Hihihi!! Kinda cool to see him with a different look. Maybe I should do something about my hair too. I don’t really want to cut it so maybe more on how I fix it — I guess I could curl it like how I used to do, if only it doesn’t take so much time.

Anyway, we’ll most likely see Burn After Reading this Friday with the free passes we scored. Awesome! Then we’ll rock the Puyallup Fair on Saturday. I got invited to a picnic the same day… don’t know which one to go to… =/

It’s already 11 pm and he’s still not here… I’m really worried.

SHEESH!! My aunt pulled a prank on me when I called her to check if she picked up my brother, she said no. I was almost died thinking of all the bad things that might have happened to Carlo when all the while he’s safe at my aunt’s. HUHUHUHU!!!! I was really in panic mode!!

So what happened was my aunt took him last night and they went shopping today and I guess decided that Carlo stay over one more night. I’m SO RELIEVED that my brother isn’t missing and that I don’t have to explain to relatives why and where I was for the last few days… well, obviously my aunt knows now, and probably my dad, but I’m still feeling anxious and it’s still making me want to cry.

…hold on.. I think I’m dead. My aunt knows one of my neighbors and she had asked to check on me, and now she knows I wasn’t home for the last few days. YIKES, well, at least she understands and says it’s okay as long as I tell THEM (I think she meant aunts and uncles!) if I’m going somewhere. (The thing is, I told my brother I was going out with Jake… that butthead should pay more attention!) I still owe an explanation to my dad. I called him earlier today though, he wasn’t picking up. I have to call again tomorrow…

BUT HONESTLY… I got really worried that I couldn’t find my brother earlier. BUT THAT BUTTHEAD is the reason why I got scolded for something that’s not my fault! He never picked up the phone while I was out and it turns out my dad had been calling us. He called on my phone but I didn’t hear it and was too late to call him back, so I called the next day but I forgot.. he’s at work. Whatever, I’ll call tomorrow and straighten things out.

See, the camera’s working again. Except that I really need to get the exterior fixed. Bummer.. but other than that, I think it’s fine. Still thinking if I should fork out $70 for the repairs. Holiday season is sort of here and I’m pretty sure price drops will start sooner than later so I can’t decide whether to let it sit like that until another urge to get a compact camera kicks in, or send it to the shop and stick with it til it dies. Sigh. I hate how I waste time thinking about things like that.

Anyway, we’re having some good weather in Seattle right now, and I believe for next week too! Such a nice way to end the Summer season. Speaking of, the colder season means it’s back to wearing tights and sweaters and boots and coats. It’s weird because it feels like the last time I wore a jacket was only 2 months ago. LOL!
