Another recount of the weekend that was.

I finally bought a replacement charger for my camera. Whoop whoop! My PowerShot S3 has been on leave for far too long and the time has come to make them lens working again. Haha! Why do I talk weird like that?

But anyway, my weekend was so fun!!! I spent Saturday celebrating my cousin’s engagement and house warming. They finished renovating this old house and it’s really nice now. I’m so happy for them and I can’t wait for the wedding; I think it’s going to be in 2010. I really had fun hanging out with everyone… and as always, good food, good company and fun games.

Later that evening, I went to hang out with Jake. <3
Sunday, we decided to go out for brunch. Ooh, Sunday’s weather was pretty fine! I had my camera with me because I wanted to practice shooting in manual mode and priority settings. I needed to. Haha! Also, I tried to talk with a funny English accent the whole day. I thought that if I normally talk with an American accent, why not switch to English, just for fun? I mean look, I wasn’t born in America so I’m not supposed to have their accent… so it’ll be fun to switch and play up accents. HAHAHHAHAHAH!!!

But yeah, I probably took hundreds of pictures of Jake. Not because I wanted hundreds of his pictures, but because he was my practice shooting subject. I’m glad he doesn’t get annoyed or feel self-conscious whenever I point my camera his way. He’s all cool about it. Practically ignoring me even. If it were me, I’ll be asking you to quit it as soon as I see you uncapping your lens. =P

Just a thought: won’t it be so weird to have a million of his pictures after when we break up? But I’m almost always good friends with exes so maybe it won’t. Actually, what’s weird is talking about a break up like I’m sure it’s going to happen. Now I’m not saying it won’t… at least not in the near future… but who knows really? See? It feels and sounds weird!!

Chill Sunday

Went to have brunch… more like after lunch brunch.

Hungry Jake was happily counting seconds til his plate of goodness arrives.

I loved my cup of goodness. It was good fun dining

with Josh being Josh

and Jake being Jake.

Jacob Bowen

It was really a good kind of Summer day.

So good in fact that Jake decided to sleep outside… standing up. AMAZING!!

Anyway, I woke him up because people started to sing “I’m walking on sunshine… woah!” Didn’t want him to miss that.

Went to their place to hang… Alex was there too and they played video games.

Since I’m a girl, they didn’t ask me to play so I spent the whole time making fish faces instead. It was a good chill Sunday.

And oh, as a bonus… we saw some samurais fighting!! LOL!

and Superman.. Because NO, it’s not a plane.

xoxo, Sarah
