I am going to see my first ever Seahawks game!!!

I am so stoked!!!
I told my friend that I only know the basics of football and he said not to worry; he’ll help explain things as the game goes, like calls and such. Haha!! Anyway, last night was pretty fun. I met Zeb at DelRay. He was with his old office mates: Alex, got laid off but his girlfriend, Marcela (yes, I’m trying to improve my name-face skills!) still works there. Allan and Kristin couldn’t make it because Allan got his wisdom tooth pulled. But what’s cool is Alex and Marcela are going to be at Kristin’s wedding so I’ll see them there! Awesomel!! There was another guy, Chris, but we two didn’t really talk. Alex also invited his friend, Steve, to join us. He brought his gf, so we had 2 more people. Oh, Steve is a twin and yes it made me think about my Jakey (and what he could be doing at their party)!! They are half-identical twins, and Alex and I went “Huh??? What do you mean by half-identical??” and he had to explain what that meant!
Anyway, I guess Zeb picked up that I cannot decide what to order so he asked if maybe I wanted to eat somewhere. Hehe.. I’m not really a big fan of Mexican food, I mean I will eat it but if there are other options, I’ll go with those. So I said yeah but I’m not sure if the other guys want to go to a different bar. He said they’re there because he asked to meet there so he’ll just say to go to another place. That made sense. Hahaha! He asked if I wanted to go to this place he passed by, Qube, that said Asian French cuisine. I told him I remember Kristin and I checking it out when they were still fixing the place up!! So yeah, I said that it was an interesting place, so after we finished our drinks, we all walked to Qube, a couple of blocks away, and it was cold that night!
OH MY GOSH! The potstickers and truffle fries were heavenly. Or maybe I was just hungry! =P
I was mostly quiet the whole night. It was alright because Steve had all the tales to tell. Ahaha! Plus, they were talking about their HS shenanigans, and obviously I grew up in a different place so things they know and do, I didn’t. I can’t blurt out something like “Oh yeah, my favorite was this beer and.. yeah… you remember those right.. uhuh…” They were talking about beer and winter. They were fun stories though. They probably don’t want to hear me talk about girls and girlfriends and clubbing. Somehow, I feel like only few people will enjoy reminiscing HS with me. Not everyone grew up in an exclusive society of girls.
But anyway, they were a nice bunch. I had my “Happy Birthday!”s and Zeb took care of my drinks and meal as a birthday treat. He’s really a nice fella and probably one of the sweetest guys I ever met! Oh!! And we talked about how Kristin, Allan, he and I planned to have movie nights at his house but that never happened coz he moved away. I told him I already saw Pi; it was the first movie we were supposed to see. HAHA!
Anyway, he’s back here not really because of a job as I thought. Turns out that his house isn’t sold yet so that’s what he’s busy of, trying to get rid of it! I can’t believe he’s keeping two houses. One here and another in Ohio. How the heck did he manage that? And I think he’s only a year or two older than me. I should try to be more like him and get my life on track.
