oh pain!

I had such a bad day yesterday. =( The weather wasn’t exactly being nice to me, and so were a lot of other things.

  • I was very tired from work, think back and neck aches.
  • It was cold and raining and cloudy, and cold.
  • I almost got stuck on a one way street.
  • I locked the keys in the car.
  • I waited for the police to come help me in the cold and windy parking lot.
  • I was running late for the movie.
  • Jake didn’t even call or text to say he won’t be able to meet me.
  • I thought I was locked out of the apartment because the spare keys aren’t where they’re supposed to be (my keys are with my Mom).

It was so bad I almost was about to cry. But it was my first day back at work and I saw Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D and I ate Crunchy California Rolls which I think I should be happy about. But that thing about Jake really made me upset. He flaked out on me, or ditched me, or chose to ignore me; makes me wonder why he’d do such a thing. Sigh. I don’t want to be bothered by it. I’ll just busy myself with school and work and not make plans with him in the meantime. I don’t want another incident like this to happen again.

Anyway, for this Halloween, we’ll have lunch at work and people are encouraged to wear costumes. Hm, I don’t know what I’ll be. I’m thinking of dressing up as a galaxy… since I already own a pair of black tights that has silver stars on it. Then I can wear a nice flowy black dress and stick some star stickers or stitch on glow in the dark stars (I remember I have those), and I can wear a headband and have star things attached to it, and maybe fix my hair with some star things too. Or I can dress up as Mother Nature. I have a cocktail dress that I don’t think I’ll ever wear again… I can use that and put flowers on my hair and put fake vines around my arms and legs. Or I can show up as myself. Blah.

Also, Kristin said if I don’t have plans for Halloween yet, I can come with her (her fiancé, and some other people) to Triple Door. Well, I don’t have plans yet, and I wanted to check out that place for the longest time so I said maybe I’ll join them. There’s a show too so it’ll be fun. I was thinking of inviting Jake but after what happened last night, I’m afraid to ask him. So, after Triple Door, we’ll hit up Can Can for some more show and prolly drinking, but I’m not sure if I’ll stay long, or even come with. We’ll see.

Photographs of myself

They are never ending… only because I am my own most accessible subject. =/ bleh.

I want to take pictures of other people too, if they are willing and comfortable, and don’t mind that I click away no matter what they prolly look (I, and they, would delete pics they don’t want anyway.) - like my cousins.

By the way, I’m using a Canon PowerShot S3 IS. I haven’t exactly played with the Manual settings yet, so obviously, it’s still a point-and-shoot camera for me. But that will change eventually because I’ve been practicing… =) (with not much success, unfortunately.. haha!)
